New Conservation Partnership - Anglo Gold Ashanti,
D & H Mining & STORM-OV
AngloGold Ashanti has committed to working within an existing partnership between D & H Mining, STORM-OV, and the USFWS Partners Program to protect and enhance habitat for the Amargosa Toad, Oasis Valley Speckled Dace and other wildlife. Their commitment to conservation actions for the Amargosa Toad and the environment is strong. By joining us in Our Mission to restore and create habitat, build refugium's, and restoration of wetlands that benefit wildlife and riparian areas in Oasis Valley guarantees us SUCCESS in the long term!
STORM-OV and D & H Mining welcomes them.
Trails -OV is a conservation minded group interested in balancing recreation and conservation, and bicycling advocacy. The Oasis Valley Recreation Enhancement Project. We are building a community-based Trail System, focused on enjoyment recreation for mountain biking, trail running, and walking. While promoting tourism and helping diversify and bring outdoor recreation as a destination. Our Master Plan has been approved by the BLM and we hope to have up to 300 miles of usable routes and trails with legitimized maps and signs. We are a subsidiary of STORM-OV, Inc., a long standing conservation minded group interested in balancing recreation and conservation. We have launched the Oasis Valley Recreation Enhancement Project, to create trails focused on the enjoyment and multiuse for all in the Oasis Valley. STORM-OV has paid for the conceptual plan, done by IMBA, and is ready for the next step in this exciting new partnering of multi-use environments, of sharing trails, enjoying habitat, recreation and community pride.
STORM-OV/Trails-Ov hired Gro-Promotions partnered with Barrick, on the startup of Mountain Bike and Hiking Trail Design, Mapping and Surveying. Barrick 's community involvement was a great start for the first 25 miles of Trail Design. We encourage others to join in this movement, along with STORM-OV, to help finish the trail system.
