Types of Our Projects
Spring Renovation/Rehabilitation
New Habitat Creation
Spicer Ranch commits conservation area for migratory butterfly feeding along with their Toad Habitat. Trees along will provide Riparian resting and shade and cover.

Noxius Tree/Weed Removal
Noxious Tree Removal helps clear waterways and provide extra water for wildlife and trees that can better utilize the water for habitat. Tamrisk Trees are known to be high water usage and hog water from other environment.

Predators of the Amargosa Toad
Large long legged birds such as Herons and Whiteface Black Ibis are just some of the predators to the Amargosa Toad. Bullfrogs are also an aggressive predator. Last Year a flock of Black Ibis totally annihilated one area of toad habitat during their spring migration.
